The Monitoring System 100 V represents the current generation of Didactum’s high-end monitoring systems. This monitoring appliance is manufactured in the EU. This networked IP alarm system is used wherever non-stop monitoring of important infrastructures is required.Typical applications:

1. Analog sensors: A1…A8″ – x8 RJ12 6P4C analog sensor inputs with automatic detection.
2. “CAN” – digital connection RJ12 6P4C for connecting CAN sensors/extensions/devices to a CAN bus. The modules can be chained together.
   – “LED: CAN” – green LED indicates the CAN bus status.
   – The LED flashes slowly – nothing is connected
   – The LED flashes quickly – the configuration is running
   – The LED lights up constantly – connected to CAN devices
3. “LAN Port” – Ethernet 10/100 Base-T port, provides an Ethernet connection.
   – “Orange LED” – orange LED for the Ethernet connection. It shows the network traffic.
   – “Green LED” – green LED for the Ethernet connection. It shows the network traffic. Flashes green when the system is booting. Displays the connection status
   (constant green light – the connection is established, green flashing – the connection is attempted).
4. “SD Card” – MicroSD card slot with ejector. The card is required for data storage or “system restore”.
5. “TEMPERATURE PROBE” – Accuracy +/- 1 °C.
6. 6a. “LED: ACT” – green LED indicates the system status of the device,
   – Operating mode of the device: switches at a frequency of 2 times per second.
   – Successful completion of the software update: switches 4 times per second.
   6b. “LED: ALARM” – The button can be programmed via the alarm display interface.
   6c. “LED: ERR” – The red LED indicates errors and traffic.
   – the operating status of the device: if everything is normal, the LED is off, if not – it lights up constantly.
   – Software update mode: switches 2 times per second.
   6d. “LED: CAN” – green LED indicates the status of the CAN bus.
7. “USB” – Micro USB port 2.0 is required for USB camera recording, USB flash for system logs and system restore.
8. “Dip switch”
   – Normal mode: The switch is switched to the left ←. The switch should always be in this position.
   – Device recovery: The switch is switched to the right →. Used to load the clean system image from an SD card.
9. OUTPUTS 12V 0.25A” – 12V 0.25A (for each output) terminal outputs (electronic relay). Pitch 3.81mm, 3P.
   – “LEDs: E1, E2” – status indicators for two 12V 0.25A outputs on the front panel.
   – The LED lights up (orange) – the output is switched on (the output state can be configured).
   – The LED is OFF (orange) – the output is OFF (the output state can be configured).
10. “Chassis grounding” – chassis grounding, M4 thread. Increases the device’s immunity to conducted and radiated RF interference. Please contact one
    professional electrician before connecting them.
11. “GNSS” – A hole for mounting the GNSS antenna. Antennas are sold separately.
12. 12a. “Restart” – This button restarts the device. Press and hold the button for 2 seconds and then release and the system will reboot.
    12b. “Reset settings” – resets the settings to factory defaults. Press and hold the button for more than 5 seconds. The “ERR” LED starts
    to blink. This indicates that the factory reset has begun. Wait 20-60 seconds for the system to reboot. The “ACT” LED
    starts flashing once the system restarts. Access to the device is now possible.
    12c. “Factory reset” – Do not use this button.
13. “Modem slot” – An “LTE slot modem (Didactum order no. 14996)” can be installed in this slot. This modem must be ordered separately.
14. “DRY CONTACT INPUTS 1…4” – Digital inputs (type IN). Pitch 3.5mm, 6P
15. “DC 12V BACKUP POWER” – 12V DC 2A alternative power input. Pitch 3.81mm, 2P.
16. “DC 12V POWER” – 12V DC 2A main power input
