Spesialis Elektronik – Didactum 14703 Modbus multifunction three-phase current meter 3P 4TE
This smart multifunction three-phase energy meter can be used in 3-phase 4-wire (3p4w), 3-phase 3-wire (3p3w) and 1-phase 1-wire (1p2w) electricity networks. The energy meter is operated via multifunction keys. The multi-line display shows the energy consumption data such as PF, kWh, kW, kVAr, kVArh, kVA, THD%, among others. The configuration settings of the energy meter are of course password-protected. The Modbus RTU-capable multifunction energy meter is mounted on a DIN top-hat rail.
Typical applications of the 3-phase multi-function three-phase meter
- Remote measurement and remote monitoring of mains voltage
- Measurement of the percentage harmonic distortion of the total voltage (THD%) on all phases
- Measurement of active and reactive energy (kW / kVAr)
- Measurement of real power, apparent power and reactive power
This smart energy meter is equipped with a Modbus RTU interface and can therefore be used with Didactum’s TCP / IP based remote measurement and remote monitoring devices. Please note that the Didactum device must be equipped with the optionally available Modbus RTU module or Modbus adapter. The energy meter connected via RS486 Modbus RTU can thus be permanently read out and monitored remotely with Didactum’s SNMP-compatible remote measurement and control systems.
The measured power output and power quality parameters can be remotely transmitted to SNMP compatible measurement data or automation software or also to network monitoring tools (Nagios, check MK, Icinga, OpenNMS, PRTG, Zabbix). In addition, this smart electricity meter is equipped with 2 S0 pulse outputs.
